How many diets have you tried...

Any discouraged dieters out there?

I am one of them!!!

Here is my resume on dieting:

1. Jenny Craig - lost weight, gained back, tired of eating prepackaged foods
2. Slim 4 Life - lost weight, but felt hungry all the time
3. Medifast - lost weight, felt like I was missing out on food

TODAY:  PLEXUS - LOST weight, gained energy, NOT hungry, Transformation life-style change rather than a fad.

Now I admit that I am not heavy, but I am LESS THAN 5 FOOT TALL! And that does NOT give me much room to proportion the distribution of my weight! So a little on me, makes my regular clothes NOT fit and I just feel miserable and very unattractive.

Finally, for the very first time in my life, I not only took Plexus to lose weight, but I adapted a better, healthier LIFESTYLE! Plexus truly (I swear) took away my cravings for JUNK that I was ingesting. I no longer crave bread, butter, sweets, diet coke, not even coffee! I feel alive, energetic and on my way to the NEW beginning of the REST of my healthy life!

I want to add that the addition of my new Vitamix blender has given me opportunities of health I never dreamed of before as well! I put EVERYTHING fresh and whole in that blender and am amazed why I did not buy this until my 40's!!! We are having low fat, healthy smoothies with spinach and kale (which neither of these I like), but you CANNOT taste them once ground up with this blender. We add fresh or frozen fruit, protein powder (from Costco) and almond milk and flax seed... and "Poof!" Heathly Magic Drink!!!! Our stomach's have been transformed by what this blender and Plexus have done! We have only been on this journey 1 month, but the options of health are beyond our limits and we are excited to see where God takes us in 2 months, 3 months, and a year!

Our 1 month anniversary on Plexus!!! Total of 33 pounds down together in 30 days!! We are not on a diet, we have made a life style change for the better!!!

We stand together today to tell you that YES we were skeptical of this stuff called "Plexus" and the cost, until we gave it a try! And we liked it immediately!!  The flavor is nice and it is a light drink, but the benefits are beyond our understanding! We have doubled in savings the cost of the product.

We had both our doctors review this product and all come back with a thumbs up. Our optometrist was even delighted to see that they used Beet coloring rather than food coloring which is acceptable to her high standards. 

We are at our first 30 days and have never felt better! We had tried Slim for Life and thought it was a good product, but if left us very hungry most of the time. On Plexus, we feel satisfied with more energy than ever!

And, my earlier posts showed that Alan has been able to lose the insulin pump and is now trying a once a day long acting insulin that the Endocrinologist is watching closely. 

We can't wait to see our health results after 3 months, and then at 1 year! We are feeling great!!!!

For those following our Journey..... My husband and I have now been on Plexus for 3 weeks. He has lost almost 21 pounds and me 8. We did begin better eating, more exercise and we feel better due to the increased energy Plexus has give us.

His blood sugar numbers were so good, that we was having to stop his insulin drip many times to keep the amount from going below 50! Visited Endocrinologist last week and she checked his CPeptide numbers (showing what his pancrease was doing) and the number was not where she wanted it to be to safely take him completely OFF insulin.... BUT she agreed to remove the insulin pump and move to a long acting insulin shot once a day with a new medicine (pill called Metformin). She urged us to return to her in 3 weeks to discuss numbers and progress on Plexus and the weight loss.

We were hoping to hear the news to get off insulin, but what we heard was NOT totally YET!!! There is still a chance.... we STAY THE COURSE!!! No matter what, Alan is feeling better than he has in 20 years, eating better, exercising, losing weight and all our doctors have given us a thumbs up to the ingredients in Plexus!!!

This is not a quick marathon, this is our life journey and we are so excited to what has happened to us in LESS THAN ONE MONTH....

I know Plexus is not a cure for Diabetes BUT.......

My husband has always thought he was a Type 1 Diabetic, so we thought, until recently.

He has been insulin dependent for more than 15 years. His endocrinologist told him 3 months ago that a person is not born non-diabetic, go to one type and then to another. She said you are either Type 1 or Type 2. Per her information, he is a Type 2 since he was not born diabetic; which means his pancreas is working but his body is not utilizing the insulin therefore he needs insulin.

We started taking Plexus July 5 2014 along with focusing on what we were eating. We are filling our fridge with fresh vegetables and fruits and eliminated all breads. This was so easy because there is something in Plexus that truly makes all those cravings for sugar and pasta go away!

Alan has had such great sugar readings since July 5th that they even started going too low, sometimes into the 30's!!! So he dialed down his drip. (He wears an insulin pump). A few days later, he had to dial it down again. He also has not had to give himself any correction (boost of insulin) since the day we started Plexus. All of this is amazing... BUT WAIT!!!!

We went to the Endocrinologist Monday (July 21) to explain this huge change in his numbers and the changes we made to his drip and the doctor was so excited and amazed. We showed her our Plexus products and she approved them for our situation and said she did not see any ingredient that alarmed her, but she is currently doing more research on the product. BUT.... here is the God story.....

She said "Let's do a C-Peptide test and see if your pancreas is doing what it needs to do", so we went to lab and did a blood test. Dr. said we get results this Friday, July 25th and if numbers are good, then Alan can TAKE OFF INSULIN PUMP AND USE MEDICATION (Jangument) !!!!!!!

We are shocked, excited and nervous all at the same time!!! But, even if test comes back negative about pancreas, his amount of insulin has decreased more than 3/4 of what it used to be!!!!

I will update as soon as we hear the results this Friday!!!!

END to my ADDICTION to Diet Coke!!!!!

End to Diet Coke

I have been a faithful diet coke drinker for the last 20ish years. Absolutely love it! Call it addicted, I don't know??? I always thought it refreshed and gave me something to enjoy.

But on July 5th, 2014 I started taking Plexus and made the choice NOT to drink a soda that ONE day! Plexus pink drink has something in it that helps you with sugar cravings. Well, I made it through that day. Chose day two to make this work for me and did not drink Diet Coke or Coffee! On day 3 I felt so good that I decided no more Red Bulls. And so on it went. I am now on day 30 and I have not had a diet coke, coffee or energy drink since 07.05.14. But, I don't crave it anymore!

I am proud and shocked at the same time!
